Find the right filter

We highly recommend using filters, even if you've already strained your paint. Gun and pump filters act as shields, preventing dust, paint flakes, or leftover manufacturing debris from clogging your sprayer. This keeps the flow rate smooth and helps you achieve a flawless finish.

The key to filter selection is material thickness. Thinner materials require finer filter mesh. Check the table below to find the recommended mesh size for your tip. Remember, both your pump and gun filter should have the same mesh size.

Choose the right spray guard

Don't worry about choosing the right guard color! Here's a simple guide:

• Use the blue RAC X guard for most tip colors.
• Grey XHD tips require a grey guard.
• Yellow line marking tips need the orange LineLazer guard.
