On the Tools go behind the scenes at Dulux Decorator Centre

The team at On the Tools recently stopped by the Dulux Decorator Centre Altrincham store for a whistle-stop tour of our products and services, plus they met our helpful in-store team to explain all the different ways that we’re centred on you. Here’s a roundup of the visit:

Dulux Heritage

First stop, the Dulux Heritage stand. A perfect mix of style and substance, the Dulux Heritage range is made up 112 luxury and expertly curated colours. Better yet, each one is available in Dulux Trade durable, professional quality finishes.

On the Tools were also shown the wallpaper display we have in store. Alongside each wallpaper sample are complementary colours that pair beautifully with the different designs and have been specially selected to inspire both decorators and clients alike.

Further down our aisles, On the Tools discovered our extensive range of decorating accessories. We stock lots of quality brushes from big brands, such as Zinsser, Dulux Trade and Osmo, as well as different sized rollers to suit different surfaces. Then there’s the impressive range of durable paints on our shelves, from Dulux Trade Sterishield to Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt. We have a specialist paint range in store, too.

On the Tools also got to see our high-tech colour mixing in action, with the in-store experts matching and mixing with the On the Tools yellow. Did you know we can mix over 14,000 colours in store? Just bring a swatch or a hard, solid object to a member of our expert team and we’ll scan it there and then to get you an exact match. You’ll walk away with a bespoke colour that meets yours or your client’s vision.

Can recycling

Next up, can recycling. Want to work more sustainably? Empty paint cans lying around? We make it easy to recycle your paint cans in our stores. Instead of them ending up in landfills, we’ll make sure they’re recycled or reused. No one else offers a service quite like it.
