  • Restoration & painting sash windows.
I was employed to refurbish & paint half a dozen old Victorian box sash windows! I have painted and rebuilt many & usually use a couple of Dulux undercoats & one to two topcoats. Time was the essence here, trying to get the paint on between showers without ruining the finish! Anyhow, a friend put me onto the Dulux opaque range as he uses it! It was a dream to use. Went onto bare wood & previously sanded like nothing I’d used before. Drying times between coats were literally 20/ 30 minutes. Three coats on each window & looked great. Can be used as a primer & top coat! Splash out on these paints as I don’t think you’ll use anything anywhere near as good for this type of project.

Colour Tints

Please be aware that within the colour tinting system not every colour is available to be tinted across all brands and all finishes. Once your order has been placed, a representative from your local DDC store will contact you via telephone to discuss the specific details of your colour order.
