How to sign up with SumUp
Whether you’ve just bought your first SumUp card reader, or you’re thinking you’d like to start taking card payments, this guide’s for you. Read on to discover how quick and easy it is to sign up with SumUp in just 6 simple steps. We’ve even included a quick video to talk you through it.
Step 1
Open the SumUp homepage and tap the ‘Get started now’ button.
Step 2
Choose the card reader that’s right for your business. Or, if you’ve already got a SumUp card reader, just tap ‘sign up’.
Step 3
Enter your email and create a password.
Step 4
Enter your company name, select what type of business you have, and add in your business info.
Step 5
Next, enter your personal info including your bank details. NOTE: your ‘account holder name’ must be the same as your SumUp profile name.
Step 6
Enter the verification code and you’re good to go.
