Dulux Decorator Centres are part of AkzoNobel, the world's largest paint and coatings company and a world leading chemicals producer. Our Decorative Paints enrich people's lives by bringing visual delight and lasting care to their surroundings. There's no doubt we're doing a good job for our customers today, but we want to ensure we continue to do good for customers and society tomorrow, so we're putting sustainability at the heart of everything we do.

As well as being concerned with the big picture we're also proud to be working at community level too. We've been the sponsors of Community RePaint since its inception in 1993. Now a network of 65 community-run paint re-use projects stretching from Cornwall to Belfast and the Shetlands, in 2007 we helped 11,000 people change their environment with over 250,000 litres of paint.

In everything we do we are focused on minimizing our impact as a business. For example, we worked closely with the developers of the largest shopping centre in Greater London - Westfield - to deliver a truly sustainable project through our implementation of an innovative service package. As well as supplying our full range of products, we installed advanced recycling facilities, including a commitment to recycle 100% of all paint cans on site - essential when over 50,000 cans of paint were used on the project. We also installed our unique Dulux Trade Environmental Wash System on site, enabling paint washings to be converted into clean, reusable water and manageable amounts of safe, easily disposable solid waste.

Retail roles

Dulux Decorator Centres are our retail outlets and the first choice for contractors and DIY enthusiasts who want first class brands, products and services. It's also the first choice for people looking for rewarding jobs and careers.

With a network of over 190 stores, Dulux Decorator Centres provides an unrivalled range of decorating solutions - from 15,000 paint colours and 1,600 wallcoverings to household name brands such as Dulux, Polycell and Cuprinol. We've a diverse range of customers from contractors to professional decorators and DIY enthusiasts - but they've all one thing in common - they look to us to turn their decorating ideas into reality.

But at Dulux Decorator Centres we've got more to offer than just great brand names - we pride ourselves on helping customers get the most out of our products and providing expert advice on a whole range of decorating issues - from colours to co-ordination our people are trained to have the answer. Due to the nature of our business we do not have late night trading and are closed on Sundays. Most stores also close early on Saturdays.
